About us
SIGnet provides:
- Local Groups across the country,
usually meeting monthly – with stimulating agendas! Small enough to
allow everyone present to contribute.
- Specialist Groups for investors
particularly involved in a particular form of investing.
- No financial commitment to
contribute to a portfolio. What you invest in and what you are worth is
your private concern.
- The Serious Investor magazine reporting
on topics relevant to private investors and members’ research.
- The SIGnet Sector Average Index
(SSAI), an alternative to
the FTSE 100, 350 and All Share indices to track the UK equity market
which more accurately reflects private investors' portfolios. View a recent plot; and read more detail
concerning the purpose and philosophy.
As a subscriber, you will be able to download the index in Excel or CSV
(Comma Separated Variable) format to use for further analysis in your
own spreadsheet.
- The SIGnet Newsletter featuring group
activities, exhibitions &c.
- This website.
- Discounts on products and services

SIGnet’s Objectives
To enable members to improve their investment performance from
organised discussions with other investors of similar interest at local
meetings, specialist groups and via the web.
Membership of a group helps an investor increase confidence in his or
her investment decisions. An open mind and ability to listen to others
are assets.
The emphasis is on investment techniques and knowledge rather than tips.

Channel Islands.
